Date: August 18, 2016
PURPOSE OF RESEARCH STUDY:
The purpose of this research study is to collect information about expectations, beliefs, and cues related to sex and unwanted sex on college campuses.
Your task is to answer the following multiple choice questions honestly and to the best of your ability.
There is minimal risk due to the personal and sensitive nature of questions related to unwanted sex. We will protect your confidentiality by not collecting any personally identifiable information and not storing your Prolific ID in the same database as your responses. You may also exit the survey at any time without penalty if you feel uncomfortable.
Although it will not directly benefit you, this study may benefit society by improving how sexual assault prevention interventions are designed.
VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION AND RIGHT TO WITHDRAW:
Participation in this study is voluntary, and you can stop at any time without any penalty. To stop, close your browser window.
CIRCUMSTANCES THAT COULD LEAD US TO END YOUR PARTICIPATION:
We may decide to end your participation if we determine that you are not following instructions closely enough (e.g. there are a few questions to confirm that you are reading the questions and not randomly selecting options).
The only identifying information kept based on your participation in this study will be your Prolific Academic ID. This information is only necessary in order to compensate you and will be removed from your responses in the database.
